Yen Press Announces Global Partnership with Hachette
NEW YORK, NY – (11/14/24) – Yen Press announced a new global partnership with Hachette UK, Hachette India, and Hachette Australia to handle sales and distribution to s and retailers outside of North America. Services for Yen Press will go live through Hachette UK starting 12/16/24, through Hachette India on 2/3/25, and Hachette Australia on 4/1/25.
Yen Press is the latest publisher to Hachette UK as part of their third-party expansion plans. Other noteworthy publishers who formed a partnership with Hachette UK include Profile Books, who ed in 2021; Elsevier, who ed in 2022; Flame Tree Publishing and British Library Publishing, who ed in 2023; Pinnacle Books and Lonely Planet, who ed earlier in 2024; and Hay House and Bloomsbury Publishing, who will in early 2025. Hachette UK is home to the most advanced warehousing technology in the UK publishing industry and has been a market leader in book distribution since 2020, aided by a strong sales team representing the distributor and their client publishers.
