Captain Velvet Meteor: The Jump+ Dimensions Launches Steam Page, 50% Discount on eShop
TOKYO – Dec. 16, 2022 – SHUEISHA and developer Momo-Pi, are happy to announce the opening of the Captain Velvet Meteor Steam page, along with its first big sale on the Nintendo eShop.
In conjunction with Nintendo Switch, the award-winning tactical game earned high praise from IGN, Kotaku, and Famitsu for its tight gameplay, emotionally driven story, and clever use of the Jump+ characters. Fans are encouraged to flood the Steam page with Wishlists and requests for the game's PC version!
Captain Velvet Meteor will also be on sale for the first time on the Nintendo eShop during the holiday season with a 50% discount.
Captain Velvet Meteor tells the story of Damien, a shy boy born to a French father and a Japanese mother, whose life transforms when his family moves to Japan. Adapting to life in Japan is complex. Unable to cope with his new environment, Damien becomes an imaginary hero, "Captain Velvet Meteor," and embarks on a fantastical journey to combat his fears. His companions on these adventures are heroes from his favorite Jump+ manga!
In battles, players control Captain Velvet Meteor and a "Jump+" hero. Guide the team to defeat Damien's insecurities come-to-life with attacks unique to each character, such as melee, long-range, and charge attacks. Wipe out enemies with unique combo attacks triggered by characters' positions, which adds plenty of puzzle elements to exhilarating battles.
