1st Golden Kamuy Spinoff Novel to Bundle New Anime on Blu-ray

Amon Ibuki is penning the novel about the numerous shocking incidents that Tsurumi and the 7th Division experienced during the Russo-Japanese War.
The Blu-ray Disc will include an adaptation of the popular manga chapter "Inazuma Gōtō to Mamushi no O-Gin" ("The Lightning Thief and Viper Ogin") and the mini episode "Shimaenaga" (The Hokkaido Long-Tailed Snow Bird). The new anime's runtime is about 30 minutes long. Brains Base is once again animating.
To celebrate June 12 being Lover's Day (from the Brazilian custom of Dia dos Namorados), the staff posted a key visual (pictured above) for the new anime.
Noda launched the manga in green-lit. The manga also inspired a live-action film and an accompanying live-action series.
