3rd Mr. Osomatsu Stage Play Reveals Visuals, Additional Cast

Hiroto Sakuma, Yōko Zan November play's cast as siblings' parents

The official website for the Mr. Osomatsu stage plays revealed the main visual and character visuals for the Kigeki Osomatsu-san (Comedy Mr. Osomatsu) play on Friday. The website also revealed two additional cast : Hiroto Sakuma as the siblings' father Matsuzō and Yōko Zan as the siblings' mother Matsuyo.

The cast includes:

Shōta Takasaki as Osomatsu

Yūsuke Kashiwagi as Karamatsu

Keisuke Ueda as Choromatsu

Ryō Kitamura as Ichimatsu

Ren Ozawa as Jūshimatsu

Ryōtarō Akazawa as Todomatsu

Arisa Deguchi as Totoko

Akira Kubodera as Iyamo

Kimeru as Chibita

Yūya Hara as Hatabō

Hiroto Sakuma as Matsuzō

Yōko Zan as Matsuyo

Except for Sakuma and Zan, all the cast are returning from the previous plays.

The play will run at Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo from November 15-20, followed by Kyoto Gekijō in Kyoto from November 23-25. A live viewing of the final performance will be held at theaters throughout Japan on November 25. Yukari Hashimoto is returning to compose the music.

The first stage play play ran from February to March 2018.

A new anime film in the Mr. Osomatsu franchise, Osomatsu-san The Movie (Eiga Osomatsu-san), will open throughout Japan next spring.

The Mr. Osomatsu television anime is inspired by Osomatsu-kun manga and "high tension comedy" TV anime, which centered on the Matsuno household with six naughty and mischievous sons (who are sextuplets). All of the sextuplets, including the eldest Osomatsu, are all in love with the same girl, Totoko. The original Osomatsu-kun series followed the family when the sons were 10 years old. Mr. Osomatsu re-imagines the original manga and TV anime with the sextuplets as adults.

The first Mr. Osomatsu anime season premiered in October 2015, and TV Aichi last October.

acquired the digital streaming, electronic sell-through, home video, and merchandise rights for the Mr. Osomatsu anime, including the second season.
