Chihayafuru Manga Released in Bilingual Edition in Japan

Ghost in the Shell, Kosaku Shima, more also in English/Japanese
inspired a television anime series.
Kodansha International launched its bilingual manga program with The New Kindaichi Files (Tokyopop began publishing Kodansha's titles in the now ubiquitous unflipped, trade paperback format in North America.
Kodansha restarted the bilingual manga program in 2006, and added the following titles since then:
- Nodame Cantabile
- President Kosaku Shima (continuation of Division Chief Kosaku Shima)
- Angel Bank
- Ghost in the Shell: Man Machine Interface
- Chihayafuru
